National NAIDOC Week is a special time in Australia, happening every year in the first week of July. It's a chance for everyone to come together and honor the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. During this week, you can take part in activities and events that allow you to learn more about the rich and ancient cultures of the First Nations. By supporting and engaging with your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, you contribute to creating a more inclusive and equal Australia.
Aurecon aims for a united Australia, where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are honored, their achievements recognized, their traditions appreciated, and where there is equality in social and economic opportunities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
