Big Air Sydney 2023, proudly hosted by North Kiteboarding and Legend Element, made history as a groundbreaking kiteboarding event in New South Wales. With strong backing from Kiteboarding Australia, North Kiteboarding, and Legend Element, the organizers were dedicated to delivering an unforgettable experience for both competitors and spectators alike.
Held in Kurnell, NSW, the event was uniquely structured to take place only when wind conditions were optimal, ensuring the most thrilling and competitive atmosphere. To guarantee 25+ knot winds, several weekends in February were carefully selected, allowing the event to unfold under the best possible conditions.
With a thoughtfully designed competition format, Big Air Sydney 2023 featured three major categories, welcoming kiteboarders of all skill levels to compete, challenge themselves, and inspire one another. This event wasn’t just about competition—it was a celebration of skill, adrenaline, and community, reinforcing Sydney’s place on the global kiteboarding map.
