Cannonball MTB Festival - Thredbo

Cannonball, the ultimate Mountain Bike (MTB) spectator event, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year, and we were thrilled to be part of this milestone! As always, the event featured the iconic lineup of competitions that fans have come to know and love, including the Fox Flow Motion Cup, the Osprey All-Mountain Assault, the Rockshox Pump Track Challenge, the exclusive Deity Whip Wars, and the highly anticipated Oakley Australian Open Downhill. These thrilling events consistently showcase the incredible skill, passion, and energy that make Cannonball a standout in the MTB calendar.

This year, however, brought something new and equally electrifying—the addition of the Maxxis Dual Slalom, which delivered a high-speed, action-packed experience, packed with tight races and adrenaline-pumping moments that left the crowd on the edge of their seats. The fierce competition on the tracks was only matched by the vibrant atmosphere in the air as fans cheered for their favorite riders.

As if the racing excitement wasn’t enough, the Saturday night’s live performance by The Terrys added a perfect touch of energy and celebration, making it an unforgettable part of the weekend. Their electrifying set brought a new level of excitement to the event, allowing everyone to unwind and celebrate the spirit of Cannonball in style.
